Lecture about Society Investigation Of AirRaid Shelter

Lecture about society investigation of AirRaid Shelter

In February 2013 the society held an open lecture regarding the investigation of the air raid shelter Kettlewell Lane in Kings Lynn. The lecture covered the investigation and the review of historical documents and was given by experts from Gressenhall, and was open to members of the public.

We were lucky enough to have several members of the community who had known the shelter during the war and afterwards. One of the attendees was able to give further information about the use of the shelter in World War 2 (and beyond) and agreed to having his commentary recorded.
