File naming Convention

I have used the following notation in naming files on the website. Hopefully I have been consistent but there may be exceptions (errors). The following shows how a filename SH07 CNE T01 D015 North Facing Section of Posthole is built up.

• 1) Season eg SH07 : (SH=SHARP) and Season (07=2007)
• 2) Site eg CNE (CNE=Chalkpit North Evaluation)
• 3) Location/Trench eg T01 (T01 = Trench 1)
• 4) Item ref. eg Dnnn : Drawing Number (D001 = Drawing 1)
• 5) Description of Plan/Section/Photo
• Optionally:
• 6) Original source (S01 = Permatrace sheet 1; F02 = Film roll 2)
• 7) NW Direction of view (NW=Photo taken looking NW)

Note that items 1-4 (above) will be used to form the reference number
